  2. Clarity v0.3.0

    A major collaboration update for sharing Projects and Areas while keeping personal work private.

    Clarity can now support a small, private collaboration circle without turning your task app into a noisy team workspace.

    New

    • Share one Project with another Clarity member, invite them securely, and co-edit its Tasks, Sections, scheduling, and recurrence.
    • Share an Area as a complete branch or choose specific child Areas and Projects with a calm, keyboard-accessible selection tree.
    • Assign shared Tasks to one member, keep responsibilities in each person's existing planning surfaces, and see restrained sharing indicators, attribution, and essential notifications.

    Improved

    • Sharing boundaries now follow content through creation, movement, lifecycle actions, sync, and offline access revocation.
    • Personal Tags, reminders, Task Views, Smart Task Lists, and other private metadata remain personal on shared content.

    Important

    • The private beta currently provides a notarized Apple silicon Mac build. A Windows build is not available yet.
    • Collaboration is designed for a small private beta: two people initially, with a configurable limit of up to five after validation.

  3. Clarity v0.2.0

    A substantial planning update with Project lifecycle workflows, Logbook history, and clearer Project scheduling.

    Projects now have a complete lifecycle: finish or cancel work safely, review its history, restore it when needed, and move unwanted hierarchies to Trash.

    New

    • Complete or cancel Projects with explicit choices for unfinished Tasks, preserving already terminal work.
    • Browse Logged Projects, reopen a parent Project without changing its child history, and move Project hierarchies to Trash with restore and permanent-delete actions.
    • Manage Project reminders and recurrence from the shared When picker, and see eligible active Projects in Anytime.

    Improved

    • Completed work now lives in Logbook, with existing saved Task View scopes migrated automatically.
    • Project search now keeps active Projects discoverable regardless of When while excluding completed, canceled, and deleted parents.

    This update fixes two everyday task issues and strengthens protections in the packaged desktop app.

    • Checklist items now keep their completion state when tasks are saved and reopened.
    • Task titles now keep more space when row metadata is shown.
